About The Cause

Hip Dysplasia affects thousands each year—often silently. TOHSAF was founded to change that story. We raise awareness, provide support, and fund early screening and treatment—because every step matters.

Our mission is to ensure that no child or adult faces hip dysplasia alone. Early detection and intervention can change the course of a life, preventing disability and giving people the chance to move freely. We work hand in hand with medical professionals, caregivers, and survivors to bring education, resources, and hope to communities across Nigeria and beyond.

Through our campaigns, we empower families with knowledge, connect patients with specialists, and advocate for policies that make hip care accessible to everyone. Together, we are building a future where awareness saves lives, and where every step forward is pain-free.

Awareness Campaign

We organise events, school outreach and online campaigns to raise awareness of Hip Dysplasia and the importance of early detection.

Community Screenings

Through partnership with hospitals we provide free or subsidised screenings for families who cannot afford them.

Education & Advocacy

We publish resources, host webinars, and advocate for better healthcare policies around hip dysplasia care.

Treatment Assistance

We run small-scale schools for the underprivileged children and youth of daily wage workers for a better future.

Support Groups

We host safe spaces for individuals and families to share experiences, receive guidance, and find encouragement.

We Strengthen

New life for children, in a new land

We have built shelter homes in different regions so children can move out of undeveloped areas to live, study and work in bigger and better cities.

A new future for exploited children

Children and youngsters who are exploited in their early days need a helping hand and support for their mental health. We take them out of this zone to give them a better life.
